Cumberland Rum Butter Recipe

225g (8ox) butter, melted
450g (1lb) of soft brown sugar
half a grated nutmeg
wineglass of rum

Mix the sugar, nutmeg and rum together, pour the melted butter over and mix well. Leave to set in a bowl.
Delicious served on scones or on hot mince pies for christmas.
